Greengage
A food supplier’s app: restaurants order at their own prices for next-morning delivery within their credit, answer shortages and check invoices validated by MyInvois; the rep runs visits and accounts; the office watches tonight’s orders.

The brief
Restaurants order from suppliers every night by phone, fax and WhatsApp, lose track of prices and find wrong items in the morning; suppliers’ reps chase payments on paper. Malaysian distributors already publish ordering apps, and ordering apps for business customers carry some of the largest budgets. We built a supplier’s app with the kitchen, the rep and the office on one order record.
What we shipped
The kitchen orders its usual list at its own prices by 10pm for delivery the next morning, sees its credit before sending, chooses what happens when an item runs short, checks what arrived against an invoice validated with MyInvois, claims for damaged goods and pays. The sales rep runs visits and accounts, takes orders, agrees prices within a limit and records payments. The office watches tonight’s orders against the cut-off, decides credit holds, special prices and claims in one queue, and chases what is owed. It runs as an Android app, built and signed by our pipeline, and in the browser; it is not on Google Play.
Built for: Food-service suppliers, wholesalers and distributors whose business customers reorder every week, and the reps who look after them.
Inside the build
Every part, and what it does
A closer look at what was actually built — screen by screen, so you can judge the depth for yourself.

Order at your prices, within your credit
The usual list in one tap at the customer’s own prices, delivered next morning if sent by 10pm. The credit available is shown before sending, and an order over it waits for approval or a payment.
- The usual list in one tap
- The customer’s own prices
- Credit shown before sending

Shortages and the invoice
When an item runs short, the kitchen chooses before the van leaves: less, a substitute or leave it out. The invoice follows the weights delivered and is validated by MyInvois; the sample sends nothing to LHDN.
- The kitchen chooses on shortages
- Invoiced at the weight delivered
- MyInvois validation, simulated

Accounts and visits
Twelve customers with their spend, lapsed items and overdue invoices. On an account, the rep checks in to a visit, takes an order, agrees a price within their limit and records a payment.
- Accounts that need attention first
- Credit, invoices and payments
- Prices agreed within a limit

Approvals and tonight’s orders
Credit holds, special prices and claims in one queue with the amounts at stake. Tonight’s board shows orders against the cut-off and the regulars who have not ordered yet, with a reminder.
- One approvals queue
- Orders against the cut-off
- Reminders to regulars

Behind the build
Researched first, then built
We studied Malaysian distributors’ own apps, business-to-business terms, sales tax and MyInvois as of 15 October 2026, rep and ordering products, and what owners and buyers complain about. Each finding below changed the app.

What Greengage does
The rep’s account page: credit, overdue invoices, prices and lapsed items, with payments recorded on the spot.
Rules it follows
The business rules, built in
The prototype enforces each of these, so you can test them yourself.
Prices
- List price less the customer’s tier (Gold 4%, Platinum 7%) or an agreed price
- A rep may agree up to 5% below; deeper goes to the office
- No sales tax line on resale, as Malaysian sales tax is charged once
Delivery and credit
- Orders by 10pm delivered next morning, Monday to Saturday
- Free delivery from RM300, RM20 below
- Over the available credit, an order waits for approval
Invoices and claims
- Weighed items invoiced at the weight delivered
- Invoices and credit notes validated by MyInvois, simulated
- Claims within 24 hours, with a photo
Connected roles
One action, every screen
Every role works on the same records, so one person’s action shows up for the others.
- 1
The kitchen sends its usual list; over its credit, the order waits in the office queue.
- 2
Paying the overdue invoice releases it at once, and it joins tonight’s orders.
- 3
An item runs short; the kitchen chooses, and the invoice follows the weights delivered.
- 4
A damaged item is claimed with a photo, approved by the office and taken off what is owed.

Core systems
What this build is made of
These are systems we build repeatedly — each links to every other project that contains it, so you can compare implementations before deciding what you need.
Industry: Food & beverage, Manufacturing & distribution
Unique to this build
Built specifically for this project rather than assembled from the shelf.
Credit before the cut-off
An order over the available credit waits for the credit team; paying the overdue invoice releases it at once.
Shortages answered at night
When an item runs short, the kitchen chooses what happens before the van leaves, and the invoice follows the choice.
Prices within limits
A rep may agree up to 5% below the customer’s price; deeper, down to the product’s floor, goes to the office.
