What it is

A second or third language for your website, written for the people who read it, not machine output pasted in. Each language has its own pages and address, its own menu, forms and emails, and a switch that keeps visitors on the same page.

How we build it

What makes ours work

01

Each language is a real page, not a widget

Translation widgets swap words in the browser and leave Google, your forms and your emails in English. We build each language as its own set of pages, with its own address, title and description, linked so Google shows people the version they search in. Rainline’s Chinese pages and Equator’s Malay pages work this way.

02

The whole journey changes language

A Malay home page that leads to an English form loses people. We translate everything a visitor touches on the way to buying or booking: menus, buttons, forms, confirmation emails, WhatsApp messages and error messages. Where a page only exists in one language, the link says so.

03

Written by people, checked by you

We may start from a machine draft for speed, but a native speaker edits every page and you approve it before launch. Pages that sell are written properly in the language, not translated word for word. Government agency websites must be in Bahasa Malaysia and English, and privacy notices should be in both for any business that collects personal data.

Questions

Asked about multi-language

The questions that come up when we scope this system. Anything else, ask us directly.

How much does an extra language cost?

From RM 1,000 per language for a website of up to 15 pages. That covers the translated pages, menus, forms and emails. Larger sites, online stores and systems are quoted on the number of pages and messages to translate.

Do you use machine translation?

Only to start a draft. A native speaker edits every page and you approve it. Your home page and service pages are written properly in the target language, because a stiff translation costs you enquiries.

Will Google show the right language?

Yes, when it is set up properly. Each language has its own address, title and description, and tags that tell Google which page is which. We never force visitors into a language based on where they are; they choose, and the switch remembers.

Can we add a language later?

Yes. We keep each language’s text in one place, so adding Chinese after launch means translating, not rebuilding. Your team can edit every language in the content editor.
