Proof

Work you can inspect

Math Simplified is real client work that we host and look after. Mailboxes are private, so email set-ups are not shown.

All our work

Concept prototypes are labelled as prototypes everywhere they appear. They demonstrate what we can build, not work delivered for that named client. More client work is going live and will be added as it does.

  • Source code, handed over in your own repository
  • Domain and DNS, registered to your business
  • Hosting and every service account, in your name
  • Analytics, search and ad accounts, with us as a manager you can remove

Ongoing care

Website care from RM 1,000 a year

Ongoing care for a front-end website starts from RM 1,000 a year and covers hosting, SSL, domain renewal and maintenance. Care is quoted with the project, not bolted on afterwards.

Support

We normally respond within one working day

We normally respond to a support request in under one working day, and we work to solve problems as fast as we can. That is how we normally work rather than a contractual guarantee, and responding is not the same as resolving. If your operation needs a formal response or resolution commitment, we can write one into your scope.

Before you decide

Questions people ask before they commit

Google Workspace or Microsoft 365?

Choose by how your team works. If people live in Gmail, Google Docs and Sheets, choose Google Workspace. If they use Outlook, Word and Excel every day, Microsoft 365 is the better fit. Both handle business email well.

Will we lose any email when we switch?

No, if it is done in the right order. We copy old mail across first, switch the delivery records at a quiet time, then copy anything that arrived in between and check the counts.

Who owns the accounts?

You own everything we build for you: the code, the content, the domain, the hosting account and every third-party account opened for the project.

Do you host websites you did not build?

Usually not as plain hosting. We review the site first and offer care if we can look after it properly; otherwise we recommend where it should be hosted.

What happens next

From a message to a working prototype

We build a free working prototype first. It carries no payment obligation, so you can judge the direction before committing.

  1. 1

    Tell us what you have

Your domain, where it is registered, your current email provider and how many people need mailboxes.

  2. 2

    Choose the provider

Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, depending on whether your team works in Gmail and Docs or Outlook and Office.

  3. 3

    Set up and test

Accounts created in your company’s name, records added and tested, phones and laptops connected.

  4. 4

    Move and switch over

Old mail copied across, then the switch at a quiet time, with nothing lost in between.

How it runs

Set up, test, then switch

Nothing changes for your team until the new email is tested and the old mail is safely across.

  1. 01

Check the domain and current email

Where the domain is registered, who controls it and what sends mail as you today.

  2. 02

    Create the accounts

Mailboxes and shared inboxes in your company’s name, with two admins on your side.

  3. 03

    Add and test the records

SPF, DKIM and DMARC, tested with real messages to Gmail and Outlook.

  4. 04

    Copy and switch

Old mail copied, delivery switched at a quiet time, then a final copy and count.

The detail

How we approach business email & hosting

Email on your own domain

An address at your own domain tells customers they are dealing with a business, and it keeps the mail with the company when people leave. A free mailbox or an address tied to one person’s phone does neither. We set up Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 in your company’s name, create the mailboxes, shared inboxes such as sales@ and accounts@, and connect everyone’s phones and laptops.

The records that keep your mail out of spam

Three DNS records decide whether your messages are trusted. SPF lists the services allowed to send as your domain. DKIM signs each message so it cannot be altered on the way. DMARC tells receiving servers what to do when a message fails those checks and sends you reports. Google and Yahoo require SPF or DKIM from every sender and all three from bulk senders, so a missing record shows up as mail in spam or rejected outright.

We add all three, include every service that sends as you (the website’s forms, your invoicing tool, a newsletter service), and test that real messages pass. DMARC starts in monitoring mode and is tightened once the reports are clean.

Moving from your old provider

Most moves are from shared hosting email or from one provider to the other. We copy existing mail, contacts and calendars first, then change the delivery records at a quiet time, copy anything that arrived during the change, and compare the counts before switching off the old service.

Website hosting comes with care

We do not sell hosting on its own. Websites and systems we build are hosted as part of their care plan, because hosting without someone watching it is how sites end up hacked, expired or slow. Ongoing care for a front-end website starts from RM 1,000 a year and covers hosting, SSL, domain renewal and maintenance. For a more complex website or a system with a real backend, ongoing care starts from RM 250 a month, with the plan confirmed against what was actually launched.

The websites we build normally run on Cloudflare’s global network, which keeps them fast in Malaysia and abroad, with the account opened in your company’s name. Hosting in a Malaysian data centre when your policy requires it, quoted with the care plan.

What we need from you

Access to the domain registrar, the name of your current email provider, the list of people who need mailboxes and the shared addresses you use. Send them to us and we will confirm the provider, the cost and a date for the switch.

FAQ

More questions about business email & hosting

Straight answers to what people ask. Anything else, message us and a person replies.

Ask a question
How much do the email licences cost?

Google and Microsoft set their own prices per user per month, and they change, so we confirm the current price for your number of users before you decide. The licences are billed by the provider to your company.

Can we keep our domain where it is?

Yes. We only need access to change its records. If you would like it moved to an account in your company’s name, we can do that too.

Can the website’s forms send from our domain?

Yes. We set up the sending service with its own records, so form notifications and order confirmations arrive from your domain and pass the spam checks.

Do you sell cheap shared hosting?

No. Hosting is part of a care plan for sites we build or have reviewed, because the care is what keeps a site secure and running.

Tell us about your website
