Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Perfect Design ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website, in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email or WhatsApp number, your business name and project details when you submit an enquiry, leave your number in our chat or contact us via WhatsApp. We also collect limited technical and marketing attribution data (for example, how you arrived at our site) to understand which campaigns are effective.

How we use your information

• To respond to your enquiries and provide our web design services.
• To understand and improve our marketing and website performance.
• To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

Cookies, analytics & advertising

With your consent, we use Google Tag Manager, analytics and advertising cookies to measure traffic and campaign performance. You can accept or decline these via our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser storage. We use Google Consent Mode, which defaults advertising and analytics storage to denied until you consent.

We may record a non-identifying, opaque reference to link an enquiry to the campaign that brought you here. This reference contains no personal data and no advertising identifiers.

When you press a WhatsApp button, send our enquiry form, or a WhatsApp QR code is shown to you on a computer, we record a few facts about the visit with that reference: the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer), the browser family, the screen width, roughly how long you had been reading and how far down the page you scrolled, how many of our pages you viewed, the page you arrived on and the website that sent you. These are numbers and short labels, not your name or contact details. They show us which pages help people get in touch, and whether chats that are never sent started on a computer or a phone. When you use our chat, we also note whether you picked a topic or typed a message, its length, and how you chose to continue. If you press Send in the chat on a computer, we keep the message you typed with that reference, so we can read it when your WhatsApp arrives.

Our pages load OpenAI's measurement pixel, which records the pages you visit and whether you pressed our WhatsApp or enquiry buttons, so we can measure our ads in ChatGPT. When you arrive from one of those ads, it keeps OpenAI's click reference in a first-party cookie for up to 30 days. It is not loaded if you have declined advertising cookies.

We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our pages, through heatmaps and anonymised recordings of page activity such as clicks, taps and scrolling. Anything you type into our forms is masked and never recorded. Clarity uses first-party cookies to recognise a returning browser, and Microsoft processes this data under its privacy statement. It is not loaded if you have declined analytics cookies.

Our pages also load Meta's pixel, which records the pages you visit and whether you pressed our WhatsApp or enquiry buttons, so we can measure and improve our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Because of it, you may see Perfect Design ads on Facebook and Instagram. When you send our enquiry form, we may also send Meta a scrambled (hashed) copy of the phone number or email address you gave, so it can match the enquiry to our ads; the number or address itself cannot be read from it. The pixel is not loaded if you have declined advertising cookies.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers who help us operate our website and communications (for example, email delivery), under appropriate safeguards.
