Why the words decide the website
A buyer gives a website a few seconds to answer three questions: is this for me, can they do it, and what do I do next. Design gets them to read; the words answer. Most of the websites we are asked to replace have the same problem: pages written about the company instead of the buyer, with the proof buried and no obvious next step.
We write each page for one reader and one decision. A service page says who it is for, what is included, what it costs or how it is priced, the proof, and the next step. An about page explains why a buyer can trust you, not your vision statement.
How we write it
We start with a short interview and the material you already have. We ask what customers ask before they buy, which objections come up, what your best customers have in common and which claims you can prove. Then we write the pages straight into the prototype, so you read each line where it will live, next to its picture and its button.
The style is plain and specific: short sentences, real numbers where you can publish them, and no claims you cannot back up. Every page gets a title and a description written for Google, and every form, button and confirmation message is written too, because those are words customers read at the moment they decide.
Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese, written for the language
A word-for-word translation reads like one. We write the Malay and Chinese pages for their readers: the terms people actually use, the questions that matter in that community, and the right level of formality. A native speaker reviews every page before launch. Forms, error messages and emails are included, so nobody switches language halfway through an enquiry.
Our flagship builds show the result: Equator's Bahasa Melayu pages, Rainline's Chinese pages, Marlowe & Khoo's property calculator in Chinese, Lightwell's international centre in Bahasa Indonesia and Ninefold's export desk in Arabic. How language versions are built, with their own addresses and a switch that keeps the reader on the same page, is on multi-language websites.
What we need from you
Thirty to sixty minutes of your time, your price list or service list, any brochure or company profile you already have, two or three examples of work you are proud of, and the facts you are allowed to publish. Send them to us and we will tell you how many pages the site needs and what the copy will cost.
