Proof

Work you can inspect

Sundial, Ninefold Foods, Highcloud Tea and Firstlight are concept prototypes we built ourselves after studying café chains, food and tea brands and wholesalers; Little Lark and Greengage are sample apps for a café chain and a food supplier, built for Android and the web. They run on sample menus and customers; no sales result is claimed.

All our work

Concept prototypes are labelled as prototypes everywhere they appear. They demonstrate what we can build, not work delivered for that named client. More client work is going live and will be added as it does.

  • Delivery by Lalamove or your own riders is booked through your accounts.

Ownership

Everything belongs to your business

You own everything we build for you: the code, the content, the domain, the hosting account and every third-party account opened for the project. There is no lock-in. If you move to another provider, everything goes with you and we help with the handover.

  • Source code, handed over in your own repository
  • Domain and DNS, registered to your business
  • Hosting and every service account, in your name
  • Analytics, search and ad accounts, with us as a manager you can remove
  • All content, media and data in the system

Ongoing care

System care from RM 250 a month

For a more complex website or a system with a real backend, ongoing care starts from RM 250 a month, with the plan confirmed against what was actually launched. Care is quoted with the project, not bolted on afterwards.

Support

We normally respond within one working day

We normally respond to a support request in under one working day, and we work to solve problems as fast as we can. That is how we normally work rather than a contractual guarantee, and responding is not the same as resolving. If your operation needs a formal response or resolution commitment, we can write one into your scope.

Timeline

Normally three to four weeks

A more complex website or business system normally takes three to four weeks, and a larger platform is scheduled against the agreed scope. Prototype timing is separate: you see a working prototype before any deposit.

Before you decide

Questions people ask before they commit

Why not just use a delivery platform?

Keep the platforms for discovery if they work for you. Your own ordering keeps the customer data and the margin on repeat orders, and lets you reward regulars directly.

Can it work with our POS?

Often, yes: menu and prices from the POS, online orders into it as kitchen tickets, and sold-out items synced back, where the POS allows it. See connections to your systems.

Can each outlet have its own menu and hours?

Yes. Each outlet has its own hours, items and sold-out list, and managers see only their outlet.

How long does it take?

A more complex website or business system normally takes three to four weeks, and a larger platform is scheduled against the agreed scope.

What happens next

From a message to a working prototype

We build a free working prototype first. It carries no payment obligation, so you can judge the direction before committing.

  1. 1

    Tell us what you need

Message us on WhatsApp with your business and the pages or features you have in mind. We reply normally within one working day.

  2. 2

    See a free prototype

We build a working prototype you can click through on your own phone. There is no payment obligation at this stage.

  3. 3

    Approve the scope and quote

We confirm the pages, features, responsibilities and timeline in writing. The deposit is paid only when you approve the quotation.

  4. 4

    Build, review and launch

We complete the build with your real content, you review it, and we launch after your final approval.

How it runs

Prototype the order first

We build the ordering journey on a phone first, then the outlets, kitchen and loyalty behind it.

  1. 01

    Map how orders arrive today

Counters, WhatsApp, platforms and phone orders, outlet by outlet.

  2. 02

    Prototype ordering

From menu to paid order on a phone, with your real menu.

  3. 03

    Build outlets and kitchen

Outlet settings, kitchen display, loyalty and reservations.

  4. 04

    Train and launch

Staff trained per outlet, then care at the level you choose.

What diners and food buyers look for

We studied café chains, restaurant groups and food brands in Malaysia and abroad before building our Sundial café group. Diners want to order quickly and earn rewards; food buyers want to know where to buy, whether it is halal and how to order in bulk. The table shows each need and where we have built it.

Food and beverage needs, and where we have built them

Rules a food business website has to follow

Halal certification in Malaysia is issued by JAKIM and the state Islamic religious councils under the Trade Descriptions (Certification and Marking of Halal) Order 2011, against MS 1500:2019. A website should show the halal status that the certificate actually covers, by premises or product, and not imply more. Food and beverage services carry service tax at 6% under the 2024 amendment to the Service Tax (Rate of Tax) Order, and online orders follow the 2024 e-commerce regulations: full price shown, mistakes correctable, and every order acknowledged.

The building blocks are on our feature pages: online payments, several outlets in one system, bookings, restaurant ordering and loyalty and membership apps. Rules that apply to every business site are on our compliance checklist.
